Dead/Stuck Pixels

Just got the gigabyte m27q and there seems to be about 4 dead pixels? They're different colours i.e. white, red and green. How do I know if they're dead or stuck?

Is there a way to fix them?

Sometimes you can free stuck pixels by gently flicking or tapping them.

Wrap your finger in a cloth and gently run your finger over them. This worked for me with stuck pixels if it doesn't setup a return.

They unstuck instantly.

You have to be VERY lucky to bring a stuck pixel back to life. I've heard people say rubbing them worked, or using one of those pixel videos but I've never be able to.

In my experience, it's always been a return and hope the next one is better. If not, I cut my losses and pick something else.

Funnily enough, my new samsung CRG9 has a red pixel near the middle. That's going back tomorrow.
