I largely agree actually! As I now work in Cambridge, bikes are just part of life. I don't have one but have been on a few friends bikes around town and it's actually a lot of fun. Outside of that I've started doing a bit of a mountain biking around the local trails; it's kind like my experiences with trials (motor)bike riding, except it hurts a bit less when the bike falls on me

I've fallen off a Truck (quite literally) - it hurt.

Not as much as coming off a bike would I'd guess though.
