What's the general opinions on the 2013 ?

I'm about to buy a new mouse to replace the awful Sensei I wish I hadn't ever bought.

Really ?! whats wrong with it ? is that the one with the really crazy dpi something like 11000 or something like that ? And to do with the deathadder...
Ill just list the things :

Pros :
Good shape
Antisweat coating
Really good sensor i really like it
High DPI
Lightweight (My opinion)

Cons:
Feels pretty cheap
The scroll wheel feels just ok but it could have been better quality
No light colour adjustment
Rubber feet are really thin
could have been gripper
Software could have had more options

But overall its a pretty good mouse , Ive got to get my exchanged as one of the side buttons is stuck. Im still thinking whenever i should just get it exchanged for the same one or for a different mouse:confused: ( im thinking of getting the steelseries rival :P)
Hope this helped ;)

I'd essentially agree with the above, apart from the 'cheap' feel. Perhaps it's just becuase I upgraded from a plastic mouse that cost me less than £5, but it feels very well built to me.

Been fan of the DA for number of years but my view has changed since they never last long due to issues or the black coating coming off it. So i jumped shipped and picked up Zowie EC1 pro which is almost same as the DA. Had it now for almost 8months and so far its been perfect and far better experiance for gaming and general use, more comfortable i.e. right mouse button area, black coating used is much better quality than the one used by Razer imo, in which it still feels/looks brand new.

Highly recommend it, so well worth checking one out.

I would highly reccomend either the Zowie EC1 as above (if you like the DA shape) or FK if you like the general shape but prefer something that tapers in at the end instead of out.

Had so much better experience so far from the Zowie FK than my previous experiences with the DA - which I liked sensor wise but never felt as comfortable in my hand as I'd have liked and never seemed to last long.

Got the original DA when it first came out, use it a lot, still going strong. When it finally dies I guess I'll get the new version, how much worse can it be?

Edit: I guess the Zowie is a good option too :)

Well I kind of exaggerated the cheap feel of the mouse like its pretty well build and not extremely cheap but you could/should expect something better for the price. :P

Have a 2012 Deathadder myself, best mouse i've used so far. Really comfortable and sleek. Mine was only £35 new if I remember right, the current Razer prices in the U.K are ridiculous though.
