i recently found this game whilst looking through a box in the loft. i remember how much i used to play it back in Win'95 days and it was great.

however... now in Win'XP days it wont run at all as its a dos game. ive tried all sorts of things on the net including some 64mb thing + dosbox emulater but getting no jot at all.

so i was just wondering if anyone else has managed to get this game running (slim chance as its very old and unknown) and if so what steps you took exactly..??

if not are there any other games around like it that will run in Win'XP?

thanks folks :)

I would have thought just running it in DOSBox it would be fine, although is it a DOS based game or is it designed for WIN95?

I dug out my old DOS copies of Magic Carpet, Theme Park and Destruction Derby and they ran fine.

I remember a game called Fatal Racing on WIN95 that was pretty fun, fully 3D but ran like a dog as the GFX card had about 2MB memory.

ok for some bizarre reason i took out the disk, downloaded the free version, ran that in dos box with \w command and the games working a treat, only with no sound. any idea how to get sound going?

No idea about your problem, but Death Rally! What a game :D Spent ages playing that.

Is there a config menu that you can get to. I know with Theme Park i had to enter the setup and choose the soundcard, IRQ, DMA etc to be able to get it working.

yeh, ive tried all sorts of combinations but cant seem to find the right one. :(

i either get no sound, of a few seconds at the start of each screen when starting a race and finishing one.
