Especially enjoying that 6 people have posted their main to include fillet steak. Perhaps those who like their steak are more inclined to think about what they would eat if they were going to die?!
I would go pretty all out really, I'd assume that I could have multiple dishes in each serving as they do say you can have "anything" you want (except in Blackadder II)
Starter: Trio of Har-Kau (chinese prawn dumplings) with hot chili dip, portion of Futomaki sushi (large rolls, rice outside) with crab and avocado, crispy seabass, egg and chives, smoked salman and caviar and scallop sashimi with wasabi paste, picked ginger and soy sauce.
I'd have my starter with sparkling water and to finish i'd have a small portion of miso soup and a wedge of watermelon to cleanse my pallet. After 45 minutes or so,
Main: Side helpings of chunky maris piper chips and crushed pesto potatoes. Main dish served with deep fried calamari, langoustines and scampi, plated on a lemon rocket salad. I'd also have a fried fillet of medium rare tuna marinated with a sweet balsamic reduction.
I'd have the main with bottles of Italian reserve Pino Grigio, reserve and at least 6 years matured, both in white and rose. I'd also also have some sicilian lemonade on the table.
Dessert: Trio (surprise, surprise) Of Pana Cotta, New York Vanilla Cheesecake and a very light Chocolate Souffle (basically a hot mousse).
I'd finish off the meal with a cappuccino or a flat white, then p**s my pants cos IM GONNA DIE!
