My old Deathadder 1800 began to stop working after 2 years service - the middle mouse button wouldn't always recognise the click - so I purchased the new Deathadder 3500 which arrived literally 30 minutes ago.

I began by updating the drivers to the latest ones, and then downloaded the firmware updater.

"Warning. Do not unplug your mouse or turn off your PC during installation as this may cause your mouse to malfunction."

Incomes the Windows USB disabled noise. Great. Firmware update fails, PC restarts, mouse doesn't work. Plugging it in now just gives the "mouse isn't recognised" help center message. Massive cba.

Can I roll back the drivers/firmware (if so what would be the best way to do this?) or is it safer to just send it back to OC?

Usually it would give the usb has been detected noise because it usually reboots the mouse after flashing. I wouldn't of been worried when it does that.

but seeing as it has failed, I would contact Razer as they may have some rescue measure software or something. May save you time other than sending back to OcUK.
