Deathadder double clicking issue

I brought the Razer deathadder back last September but it starting to double click on a single click, what can be done about this?

I've tried adjusting the options in control panel to no use.

My friend had the same issue.
He gave me the mouse to see if I could fix it, and I just gave it a light tap, and it now works fine.

Turn upside down, smack onto desk. Try.
Do note that I didn't care if i damaged it...

Come to think of it though. When I got home, it was the first time I plugged it into my PC so all the drivers started installing. Maybe, it's a software issue?

Try re installing everything?

I contacted Razer support and they are sorting a replacement

My mouse has been doing this recently, noticed blowing inside it temporarily fixed it. Took it apart and blasted the innards with contact cleaner spray and it is now working again fine. Dust/gunk build up in the switches I am guessing.

Have you tried to download the driver for it?
