Deathadder Firmware 1.27 wont update?

Got my deathadder today and i like

However 1.27 the latest firmware for the deathadder willl not update? i am using windows 7 64bit any way to update it? Annoys me how companys are so lazy to bring out windows 7 drivers its discrace. None of my settings properly change. Setting dpi to 900 doesnt work still at 1800dpi.

disable UAC, run as admin

You need to use a 32-bot OS to flash the deathadder firmware I think. I'm not having any issues with mine so I'm not flashing it.

So what do i do? Plug it into a 32bit xp machine run the installer then its done?
