deathadder mouse settings - what do you use

It's not a laser but I did hear this too, couldn't find any concrete evidence on it though so I've left it the same.

Sorry it was quick post yer I understand its an optical mouse. Ie doesn't use a laser like some of logitech mouses for example, I couldnt think of a better word at the time. You knew the point I was making by using the word laserbeam :p

There's evidence for it don't have the blogs at hand but I'm sure I've read reviews detailing it all. When i first got the mouse.

Its more a case of does it actually effect how the mouse reacts ? To be honest I'm not up to scratch really on mice and polling rates. Past the basics of what it does.

I did find it seems a lot more twitchy with the high polling and high dpi. If that helps the OP with his settings. Not something I notice to much in game, but have noticed it when using Photoshop and zoomed right in on a image.

More thank likely a placebo effect, or crap on my mouse mat, when I tested 1000hz, to the OP try both, 500hz and 1000hz. Neither settings will make your K/D go through the roof, Personally I feel no real difference, not like sensitivity, advanced sensitivity, windows mouse speed and dpi effects the Deathadder. There the most import settings to get right.

I have the older Deathaddar 1800dpi, and I noticed the newer firmware updates are either 'DC' or 'NDC'.

As far as I can tell it refers to Drift control, anyone know if having it or not is better?

This one I think Drift control wil turn this line

---__--__---__----___-----

into this(crude example)
-----------------------------

If someone else can confirm that is the effect drift control as, it would be best to use the NDC I guess so your mouse input isnt being altered by the software ???
