Debian 5 Wallpapers and GDM's

If you install gnome.

I'm on KDE, KDM rather then GDM too.

Where are those wallpapers on a standard Debian install, they're not in KDE's list.
 
Yeah, Gnome is the default desktop environment if you just let it do it's thing without intervening. I never use KDE so you'll have to poke around for those.
 
they will either be in the same place as in gnome.

Or they came with gnome, and I don't have them.

Anyway, I did let the installer do its thing.

I set up the partitions manually, and chose "BASE", this lands you at a command line with most of the original GNU tools, and the rest of the debian stuff, then I did apt-get install kde-base.
