Debian + Docker and Portainer for Frigate NVR

I've never used Docker before but I'm looking to move my frigate NVR from within Home Assistant to it's own hardware. Is Docker raltively easy to install and do I need Portainer to manage it via web browser GUI?

Yep it's as simple as following this guide:
