The newest AFI album, Decemberunderground got released today. Just wondering if anyone here picked it up, and what they thought of it? I saw them in Camden last week, and I can honestly say that was the best gig of my life. They have such a presence on stage, and their fans are truely nuts.

Love love love this band. I remember seeing them supporting the Offspring. Does Davey still do that crowd surfing standing up thing? I can't wait til they tour this year. They've also said that they plan to hit these shores more than once on the back of this album.

The new albums very 80's. I'll have a proper opinion on it in a few days.

I saw them in 2001 supporting the offspring too, at the time of The Art Of Drowning. They're even better these days. Davey did do a mini sort of crowd surf thingy right at the end. They have been on record as saying their plans are to tour the album in the UK in the fall, but nothing is booked yet. I'll definately be there if they come back.

The new album has definately grown on me since yesterday, Summer Shudder and Kill Caustic are classics. Definately sounds more 80's; especialy songs such as Love Like Winter.

I bought it Today.. I'm Listening to it now.. It's sounding Pretty good.. Yummy.

Anybody else got it yet?

well, you like Defiance, Ohio. so you have no opinion.

also, AFI new album is really good. i like it a lot.

I love the album. Better than STS by a mile. I like the 80s influence and it's clear this is very much Daveys album. Either way, I love it. The bonus tracks even fit real one. Even though one is a cover and the other is from the STS sessions.

This album grows on me day by day. Rabbits Are Roadkill On Route 37 is such an awesome song, was a great decision to have it as a UK bonus. Afi ROCK!
