Hello

My current headset (Sennheiser PC330) has broken for the 4th time and I'm giving up with it (horrible reliability)

I'm looking for a replacement ideally under £100 but closer to £50 is better. 2.0 with decent sound quality and mic. Will be using with an Asus Xonar DX soundcard using dolby headphone. Mainly used for games but music sometimes as well.

Thanks

Edit: I DO NOT want another Sennheiser, awful quality

To be fair Sennheiser are normally ok and I've had some of their cheaper headsets in the past which were fine. Sometimes it's just bad luck and I've had this bad luck with much more expensive equipment recently :(

I can't think of any other cheapish headsets from a decent audio brand other than Sennheiser so if you're sure about not having another Sennheiser I guess you can look at offerings from all those gamish companies :/

You can't go wrong with any of the above, all have received wide acclaim.

I can also reccomend the turtle beach px3 if you fancied a wireless headset, although they are USB. They sound like a midrange headset.

I use a music headphone for general listening & gaming and the px3 for when I'm playing a game and using voip, a desktop mic would be a more sensible option.

Creative Aurvana Live! headphones and a clip-on mic, like the Speedlink SPES.

Is far superior to anything else within that price bracket (around £60 all in).
