4790k @4.4. With nice big 2 fan aircooler 16 gig 2400 ram, 5 hard drives and two SSD drives. Blu-ray dvd rom . Gtx 980 (3 fan kfa2) . 2 front fans (120)and one rear (120). I'm sure a decent 500w bronze rated would run this without issue? No upgrade plans.

Unless it is a really old and/or rubbish PSU, it should have no issues with that setup. You don't have any particularly power hungry components. The newer NVIDIA cards are very efficient. :)

What PSU do you have / are you considering?

I've tested the system and maxing everything my readings were 335w max from the wall. I was curious to the suggestions as I know a bronze rated 500w will be more than adequate. Excessive wattage units are pointless IMHO.

Yep. Unless you want the room to add a second GPU of course. :)

I have a 750W PSU because I was going to get a second GPU in the future... I ended up just getting a single more powerful one though, so its still excessive... :p

I think my PC draws around 480~W
