I am looking at upgrading my PCI ADSL modem to a wireless one but I dont want to go out and buy one that isnt ADSL2+ compatible.
I am currently on the 8meg Bulldog service but obviously want to upgrade when its available to the better ADSL2+ services.

I have been looking at the Linksys WRT54GS.....anyone know if this is ADSL2+ compatible??

If not, can anyone recommend me one??

Thanks in advance.....

ADSL Max Question

I'll piggy back on this thread if no-one minds......

I have a BT Voyager 2000 which has worked faultlessly for 3 years, but I'm moving from Pipex to Nildram in order to get an ADSL Max product.

Question is: Do I need a new ADSL Modem / Router to replace the Voyager in order to get the best from ADSL Max. No response from BT tech support on this question, information seems very hard to come by, although one FAQ i read seemed to suggest that if the Modem was able to receive up to 8 Mbps there'd be no problem. I assume that ADSL Max, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ are different things, and there'd be no advantage to getting a new wireless modem router such as for instance the Linksys WAG354G, or the Netgear DG834PN.

Thanks in anticipation...

Yes, and yes, you don't need a new router. As long as it isn't USB, you should be ok (on the whole).
