decent archive software for mac os x?

I'm looking to something similar to the 7zip manager interface (i.e supports everything under the sun with a simple interface that allows compression AND decompression)

i've tried everything thats free on there and they are mostly rubbish

Any freeware solutions ?

It's not freeware, but Springy has potential. It's missing a few things that annoy me at the moment, but it's worth a look.
