Decent Banner Software

Hi

I'm currently undergoing the creation of a website.

I am in need of some decent banner creation software that I can use. I dont mind paying for it if it is decent.

Something I can create standalone and flash banners with. Definately not something that looks like a desktop publishing jobbie.

It is a bit of a vague question, so I can only really give a vague answer

Go and have a look at GIMP, its a free image program along the lines of photoshop but I am pretty certain that an animation plugin has just been released which I would imagine would be perfect for animated banners.
