Decent/Best iPad Video player

Folks, could anyone give their recommendation for videoplayer apps for iPad?
Ive tried PlayerXtreme which is pretty funky admittedly, but I would be grateful for any advice or experience with other apps which you think are the dogs danglers.

Local storage or streaming?

I use plex and air video for streaming from my plex server/server share. Both can sync down to the iPad for offline playback.

Using plex and DIDNT know that you can save for offline viewing?

Is Airvideo any good? Can it stream to a TV directly?

Does it have thumbnails for example?
