Decent Blu-ray player

I am after a decent blu-ray player. I assume they can play dvd's too? Dont want to spend a lot. Just want a decent one that can also play DVD's and maybe plug an external HD in to access stuff on? Cheap as possible but decent quality.

I dont have a PC or internet (tether at mo) but have quite a few DVD's etc.

I've had a couple of oppo dvd and be players. Problem with bd is change in spec.

Dvd is still dvd but there are 1080p and 4k players ..

I use a Sony BDPS1700, quiet and compact, worked well for years.
We also have a LG BP250 in the other room, is quiet and compact as-well.
Both have 1 USB on the front that works well for USB/Hard drives.
