I've just upgraded my gfx card to pci-e and my memory to ddr2 (see my sig.) and I've realised my mobo is not doing either of them justice! (x4 interface on the pci-e slot and the mobo only supports up to DDR2 667 wheras my new OCZ stuff is 800!!)

Can anyone recommend me a budget mobo that will give me a decent performance with my kit?? The only must is onboard sound as I dont have a sound card!

Thanks in advance....

Ideally sub-£80 - I've just been trying to have a read about mobo's - what is the difference between the various chipsets? (P35, 975X, 965P and "other")

Cheers...

The Intel P35 is a replacement for the now aging 965. The new G38 coming out is a replacement for the 975. Other covers things like the nVidia chipsets (650 and 680i). The 650 is basically a less feature-rich version of the 680 but still be a decent overclocker if you want to do that. In either case, considering your budget and your other harware, you should probably decide between a 650 and a P35, and as you can get some bargain P35s, I'd go for that.
