Getting some lag spikes in games so I want to enable some kind of QoS but my current netgear WPN824v2 doesn't have such options nor is it supported by ddwrt. The wireless signal is also pretty bad at the further reaches of our house, so an improvement in that department would be nice too.

Basically looking for something with decent wireless signal that will support dd wrt.

try searching

I use a D-Link DIR-615 Revision D4 which is a wireless N, and has DD-WRT on it. I also have a linksys but can't get the full version of ddwrt and it's only a 'G'.

The D-Link's pretty good though. Never had a signal problem, even after having it shut away in a cupboard, still keeps great signal and they can be picked up dead cheap!

I'm looking at the 615, some of them are all black and some have a grey band but none of them specify what revision they are. What should I be looking for?
