Been looking for a decent footie blog for good punditry (and that's easy on the eyes), does anyone know any good ones? I used to follow RobboRobson on the Beeb but he moved away to his own private site and I lost touch, but it's not like he's ever heavy on facts anyway, he's more a humour guy.

And is it just me or does Phil McNulty (also on the Beeb, and ironically their headline guy on there) talk the most irritating amount of tosh I've seen? He either doesn't put forward anything beyond the usual uninspired fodder or decides to be original and gets it horribly, horribly wrong... like that time he tipped the 'Pewl for the title the season they crashed and burned. :D

So basically do you know any decent footie blogs and if not, how much of a **** is Phil McNulty on a scale of 1 to Andy Gray?
 
They're all ****s, but unlike say horses they're paid to provoke discussion (to put it mildly) so they often dish out fairly controversial opinions.

Think how animated and heated it gets in here on a weekly basis.
 
Glad someone else dislikes Phil McNulty. The man could not be more bland if he tried. He usually tries to put forward both sides of any story he talks about, but in doing so, utterly loses any ability to have his own voice. It's only football Phil, stick your bloody neck out once in a while.

As for stuff I read/listen to?

The Fiver - The guardian's brilliantly (week)daily blog.

Football Weekly - James Richardson and various others, twice weekly podcast, fairly interesting. Covers Europe too, which is a nice plus.

Zonal Marking is a bit too nerdy for me, but if it floats your boat, its very well written.

The rest are Arsenal-related, so unless that's your team, I won't bother you with all of them, although Alan Davies' podcasts are hilariously good.
 
Tim Vickery on the BBC is usually worth reading and a lot more interesting than the average football blog.
 
Listen to Football Ramble (and read their site / forum )

Guardian's Football weekly is brilliant (Richardson is ace)

World Football phone in is a top listen as well :)
 
I remember being linked to a blog on here ages ago. I think it was a spurs fan and the link was to his blog about Berbatov being like a squirrel. Random I know but doen't anyone know what its called?
