Decent free webcam recording software?

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question. But I am looking for a decent piece of software that will allow me to record video from my built in webcam, ideally in different video formats.

It's a Dell Latitude E5410, I tried downloading software from the Dell site but doesn’t seem to work.

iSpy looks good but I'm sure there must be a simple webcam record app. The idea is to record s self CV video and upload online.

Windows Live Movie Maker can do this, it's free and made by Microsoft
