decent freespace - any way to get higher res and better textures?

Hi all.

Just got fs1 on steam while cheap. Loved the game years ago and wanted another go at it. Yet. The gfx are very blury and blown up cos of its res. Is there any chance there is a high res fix somewhere and possibly a high textures pack as the textures seem really crap compared to how i remember them.

I just bought fs1 so I want to use fs1.

I didnt mean to sound ungrateful for suggestions about fs2. It is just that i just bought fs1 and want to play that otherwise its a waste of money if i have to get fs2.
