Can anyone recommend any decent frozen burgers these days?

Birds eye have started using Pea-Protein in their mix which has completely ruined their burgers Imo, They have a Slushy texture now and very little flavour lol.

So looking for some suggestions!

Btw anyone know why its so hard to get Hamburgers now also?...literally never see them!

Each to their own of course, but I like the thin Aldi ones (same profile as their sausage ones).

Of course such burgers are not for singular consumption, they must be stacked.

Buy a 500g of mince, some salt and pepper, some greaseproof paper and a square Sistema container. Split the mince into 4, add salt/pepper, roll into balls. place each ball on a flat surface on some paper, then place paper on top. Add two cherry profile spacebars to the side of the ball, place another board on top and push down until the spacebars stop you. Repeat for the other 3 balls. wrap em in the paper and stick em in the sistema container and into the freezer. Perfect size and shape burgers.

I either get the ones from our local Farm Shop or make my own, bought a press from Amazon but as other people have said roll into correct weight balls and squash down if you don't want a press

It’s still a burger, the only difference here is you divide it up. You don’t even need to add any ingredients. You don’t even need to flatten it.

As for the question from the OP, it’s difficult to get good burgers now because meat prices has shot up like 30% in the past 2 years. They have to replace meat with something else.

I think they're reasonably valid comments - it's not much effort to squash some beef mince into a burger shape and put it in the freezer, with the added benefit of 500g of beef mince probably being cheaper than branded processed crap like Birds Eye anyway
