Decent gaming mouse?

Looking to get a decent new mouse - max price £50.

I'm using a CyberSnipa Stinger at the moment (which is a great mouse despite the dodgy name), but it just seems really sluggish now I'm on Win7 64 compared to when I used it on my old XP system. Also I can't get the mouse wheel tilt function to work. I doubt they update the drivers properly for win7 64...

Therefore I'm after a decent replacement.
Just a good mouse for FPS gaming in win7 64 - doesn't need macros and buttons coming out of its ass... Just nice tracking and reasonable DPI.
Normalish style - no "claw grip" or strange mice. Just 5 buttons and mouse-wheel tilt.

Was thinking of waiting to see what the new Corsair FPS mouse will be like, but any other recommendations in the meantime?

Steelseries XAI should be exactly what you are looking for.

+1

Can vouch for the xai, it truly is an awesome mouse. HOWEVER, I'd recommend getting either of the following mouse mats to accompany it:

Steelseries 9HD
Steelseries 4HD
QPAD HeatoN XL

The mouse has issues tracking on cloth pads and these hard mats have proven to have no problems with the xai whatsoever, the 9hd I believe was built alongside the xai.

thanks for the xai suggestion - it was actually top of my consideration list along with the new corsair mouse (if it comes out soonish).

If it doesn't I will try the xai. :)
