Hi all

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
Right i am looking at finally buying a new pc current system is:
I5 760 lynnfield oc to 3.9 stable
2tb storage
120gb evo samsung ssd
16gb ram
bequiet 850 psu
r9 280 msi gpu.

The system i am looking at is purely gaming also going to be getting in to VR later on in the year/ christmas time. I currently only play on full hd (1920x 1080) will be looking at getting at 3440x1440 monitor when i work out a better location for my setup. the man cave is a bit small.

I can salvage the psu and the 2tb storage so what i need will have to inc:
Processor (clueless here tbh thinking maybe something like the i5 6600k but not sure if i7 would be way to go with vr?)
Motherboard
Gpu (i am thinking 1080 not a amd fan)
250gb ssd probably samsung
at least 16gb ram (seriously thinking about 32gb while i know i can afford it lol)
copy of windows
Case
Cooling system not very confident with water so maybe a closed system like the corsar hydro 55 (what i currently have)

As for the games i play at the mo overwatch and wow but i am switching back to pc gaming ( been on console last few years ). So it will be mainly fps, rpgs maybe some mmo no mans skies etc.

Hopefully thats enough info :).

Thanks again for reading all that and any advice is appreciated.
