Decent Headphones

I'm after a lovely pair of headphones.

They must be good for:

Gaming and Music

& Also:

Not be massive.

I bought a pair of Philips wireless headphones a while ago - and they were absolutely rubbish. I'm not wanting to go down the wireless route again - but they were also massive. And idiotic looking. The arch on Wembley stadium springs to mind.

Preferably something 'close' fitting and semi-tidy.

I've been having a quick nosy about and viewed reviews on both the Sennheiser HD555 & Sennheiser HD515 sets - with the former seeming to be well worth the extra dosh.

I was just wondering if anyone out there has either one or even if you could recommend something different.

I'm not too hooked on Sennheiser, although I have heard a lot of good from users of their products.

The HD555 would be the tip top of any budget.

Thanks for any help.

It just depends what shape/style of headphone u want.

As stated, just something tidy fitting and something that does a job.

I'll have a look at those suggestions, by the way.

Cheers. :)

Fanatic, I bought the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi card itself, a few weeks ago.

Brain, my issue is the 'arch' in the headphones - as opposed to the actual ear parts themselves. The Philips' ones I had, had a massive arch and they looked plain silly when you wore them.

Cheers for the suggestion though.

That's true I suppose - but when you pay good money, you expect a good product. That for me includes the look as well. ;)

I went for the 555's - hopefully they'll be half decent.
