I'm looking for a decent quality wireless keyboard that's fullsize and has a built in trackpad, but i'm strugging to find many decent options!

Most Google results seem to be pointing at Keysonic keyboards... are they any good? They kinda look a bit cheap!

The only one that I've found, that seems to fit the bill is the Logitech MediaBoard Pro for PS3 (I'm assuming there's nothing PS3 specific about it...).

The only "issue" i have with that, is the fact it uses Bluetooth and I've had nothing but problems with Bluetooth!

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions - I'm all ears!

Cheers!

Have a look at the accuratus toughball. I've got one and it seems to work really well. I know there are some mixed reviews on them, that the receiver sometimes doesn't work but mine has been fine.

I've used a Keysonic and whilst they do look cheap they are very good.

I'm currently using a logitech diNovo mini myself but may get a keysonic as well. They are reasonable and if you buy from the rainforest free returns if you don't like it!

Have a used a DiNovo Edge in the past, which is a joy to type on and has superb range. The trackpad is a bit Marmite though, the outer edge circular scroll is a bit random but it's great for general point and click.

Battery life is also excellent, I think I charged it once every 4-6 weeks depending on use.

edit - just read your bit about bluetooth. It its BT, but I found it to be very good in general use. Even when using on a 360, faultless. Hit and miss getting into a PC BIOS though for some reason. 3 in 10 success rate!

DiNovo edge.
Although it is bluetooth it has never been a problem, For me, the keyboard will even works in BIOS without drivers and before W7 is installed. I tried a couple of cheap keyboards before I bought this. built in rechargeable batteries last months, it just feels great everytime you pick it up.

+1 of the DiNovo Edge.

Have 1 for my HTPC & it works flawlessly, works in bios (have not had any problems getting into the bios with it), & during windows 7 install which I was quite impressed with. As others have said the batteries also last ages between charges (mine last so long I cant remember the last time they were charged probable approx 2 months).

Build quality is excellent & you get a 3 year logitech warranty which is the best on the market judging from the feedback on these forums (never needed to use it myself).

Hmm the DiNovo Edge looks okay... although pricey!

I take it that scroll pad does also act as a true touch pad as well right?

Yeh it does. It only scrolls up/down if you move a finger up/down on the right edge, & left / right scroll if you move finger left / right along the top edge, otherwise it just acts like a normal touch pad.

Yeah you're correct about Keysonic being a cheap make, you could sacrifice the reliability you get with a more expensive keyboard for an amazing price.

I bought a backlit gaming keyboard from Keysonic for the really cheap price of £30.
It is actually amazing quality I found out, however the backspace key has flipped out of its socket, resting loosely on where it should be.
And also it changes to caps whenever it wants.
