Decent Laptop for £800

Here is the deal I have an Imac core I3 and a Ipad 3 thinking of selling these to buy a £800 windows laptop would love a Macbook but can't justify £1400 + on a laptop.

Is there really a need for an i7 in a laptop? I don't know about the current gen i7s but the older ones killed battery life and were hot.

I would probably go for a decent i5 and respectable graphics card.
You must get an SSD though. I have had many good laptops in the past that are ruined by a slow as **** hard drive. Seems to be a common issue in laptops!

Managed to get it for £950 after all the codes etc. been checking the outlet but the 15z's seem to go like a flash.

Ordered now , just have to wait until 2nd august

They come from hong kong dont they ?
