Hello,

Ideally working well for 5-6 years if this is realistic.
Would like Windows O/S & screen not too small.
Also minimum 8GB Ram
Recommendations would be great if possible ..particularly seasonal bargains!
Thanks
HH

Thanks for your help.
This looks really good so I think I'm going to go for it.
Kind Regards

Also noted the following, the memory is 4 gb on the motherboard and 4 gb in a slot.
I have purchased a 8 gb to go into the slot for 12 gb.
Not worried about dual channel as this laptop is for non gaming only - even though you can do some nice light gaming on this apu.
The multi tasking on this laptop is great - running 4k you tube and running a few spread sheets with no problems at all.

Hi,

Sorry for the slight necro on this thread. I just have a similar question for my son. If I should have started a new thread, I am sorry.

I was thinking of ordering him a Lenovo Flex 5. He qualifies for a student discount. Specs along the lines of:
  • i5-1135G7
  • 16GB ram
  • 512GB TLC SSD
  • WiFI 6
  • MX450
  • Pen/ backlit keyboard / fingerprint, etc.
Whole thing is about £730ish with his discount.

I heard the screen is poor but he is not going to any graphic design work. Mainly MS Office, 6+ hours of battery, and occasional light gaming. Is there any other better options? He is not in a rush so don't mind the wait times.

Many thanks
