Decent mech games

Just played Armored Core 4 for PS3, and have to say I'm impressed - but it got me thinking of Battledrone Arena and then I realised that there was no more games like it for PC

Anyone know of any mech games for PC? (no mech assault please!)

Mech 4 is the best PC one, however since you have a PS3, have you tried zone of the enders 2? Awesome over the top anime mech action

heavy gear 2 (awesome game) mechwarrior 3 and 4 + addons (nothing better) and mech-commander 2 is cool game as well

you would have thought by now there would be a 5th mech warrior if they could make a game as big as the new flight sim then id guess it would be possible to do another mech warior

what was that mech game where you had to achualy buy this dual joystick thing to play it. Think it cost like 100 quid. It just randomly died though for some reason after being a big hit?

I wish they would make a new mech game for the PC, playing a online mech dm game sounds so fun.

would love to see a fifth incarnation of mechwarrior, with more of everything, better graphics, bigger missions, bigger maps, player does more in mission planning and such, maybe non-linear missions would be nice as well, heavy gear 3 wouldn't go a miss either, loved the second one especially

we need a mech warrior mmorpg.

That would be mental.

Would have to be based on the Merc's type engine, ie you fight for the highest biddger, could be one of the big houses or a corp of some sorts.

There is a mech oriented MMORPG on it's way called Age of Armour. Be warned though, it looks to be complete pants and the English language website is appalling.

Somewhere on the web there were some piccys of MW5 before it got canned. I wish i had saved them

As for MMO mech action, there was Battletech 3020 (i think) and that got taken over by the evil EA and canned.

I personally pray each day for another mechwarrior game. But I have the sence of dread when i realise that if they do make one, they may base it in the Dark Ages.
Which would suck hugely.

anyone remember gnome? that was (rose tinted glasses) so good.. i remember at the time wishing i had a MMX tech cpu so it ran better... hah
