Decent modding websites?

hey fellas,
I'm looking for a few mod sites to give some ideas for a possible future build. Anyone got links to some impressive mods, that aren't too insane?

If you want the basics, have you read through the 90 links in the sticky.... most are basic, but the sites some of them link to are a good read.

Indeed I have. I'm looking for impressive aesthetic/performance improve mods. I just doubt I'll be interested by projects such as the Doom III.
