Decent performing but totally silent card when not gaming?

Is there a high performance card that is silent for use in a HTPC without going water cooled?

I used to have my Gaming/HTPC in a different room to my plasma but now I've moved house I have it in the same room and my toxic 6950 crossfire setup is really annoying me when watching mkvs.

Obviously whilst gaming I do not mind noisy fans kicking in. Can anyone advise please?

Have you thought about putting coolers on the them like the Arctic Accerlero? By all accounts they are very quiet indeed. Unfortunately, they don't have any in stock on here at the mo, but there are other brands which I'm sure will do the job.
