Does this even exist? I am looking to get rid of my 27'' iMac and get a decent monitor + PC instead. For now I'll be ok with just getting a new monitor as I will hook up my macbook pro and PS5 to it.

Ideally want a 4k 27+ but since I do a fair bit of photo and video editing colour is very important to me.

Any suggestions?

There are some 32" high refresh panels due this year, but no indication yet when exactly. If you have the GPU to run it though, the above mentioned 27GP850 is a good choice. Makes sense go with the HDMI 2.1 version.

I just picked up an LG 27UL850 for my Macbook Pro and PC... it has a Thunderbolt connection which I find very handy. One of the best IPS panels I've ever seen, hardly any bleed or glow. It's 60Hz, but I personally don't have an issue with this.

Cheers for replies guys.
Also found this LG 27GN950-B computer monitor 68.6 cm (27") 3840 x 2160 pixels 4K Ultra HD LED

it can do 144hz but can only manage 90% of AdobeRGB gamut. Also pricey - over 1k

What's your budget? I was in the same boat and ended up going for the Predator X27P (on a payment plan, for obvious reasons).

It's expensive, but you get full argb and the accuracy is fantastic. Easily the best photo editing monitor I've used.

For gaming you'll be limited to 98Hz unless you drop down to 8bit colour. Going from 60Hz to 98Hz was plenty for me - I didn't notice any significant benefit from going up to 120Hz.

Oh, also the best hdr I've seen on a monitor. It's not as bright as a decent TV implementation, but I wouldn't want to have my face 45cm away from my TV in hdr mode.

Full use with PS5 requires HDMI 2.1 and FreeSync.

I'm not sure if the ps5 supports 1440p as a resolution. IIRC last time I checked it only runs at either 1080p or 4k so may default to 1080p on a 1440p display which could look pretty bad.

Something to check if you want to run a PS5 on your monitor.
