I had some Powercool PSU and well, went to get coffee and came back to the smell of burnt electrics.. It was 650W and I would assume that would have powered my 780 fine but I guess not.

So far, I took out my 780 and put in my 460 and a 550W PSU for today and everything seems to be fine so I assume the circuit trip in the PSU actually worked which is marvelous.

So, I'm gonna assume this would be fine to power my GPU + Drives and stuff and not blow up?

Also, if I order for next day delivery on Saturday when is the cut off time for these orders?

That PSU is MOREE than enough for you're Rig, the 550W PSU would have sufficed to be fair.

This 860W PSU will handle 780 SLI with ease.

I don't think Saturday is included in Next day is it? (as saturday is a special request option). It'd more than likely be Monday now.

Nah, I meant I ordered for sat and paid the delivery, not next day. I just don't know what their cut off time for these are.

Edit:

Dear Mr Christopher Jones, Your Order has been packed and is in the process of being shipped.

:)

That is a lovely PSU. I ordered one a little while ago as quiet was my main concern - no regrets at all. The fan never needs to come on with my rig (i7 920, single HD7950 card and a couple of drives). I over-specced to allow headroom for a second graphics card - you look to be in the same position.
