Decent road tyres for MTB - Suggestions?

My Continental SportContacts have now pretty much died after 12 months hardish use.

So what do I replace them with?

I don't want to break the bank, but i do want slicks.

I like the Specialized FatBoys but can't seem to find them anymore :(

Anyone got any suggestions?

Bike is a Specialized Rockhopper disk.
 
If I ever put slicks on my MTB (which is very rare) I have a pair of Bontrager tyres. Sorry dont know the name, but they work perfectly well, and even got me from London to Brighton on my mountain bike one year :D They only cost about £7 per tyre. Will use my road bike this year tho.
