Decent Router under £100 (for ADSL)

I currently have the technicolor tg582n that my ISP (Plusnet) provided me. I have been having lots of problems with it. When playing games like Arma 3 and GTA online (through a wired connection), the router seems to become overloaded and it will fully drop the connection. I then have to wait for it to reconnect, not the best when I'm in an organized game of Arma 3. I have improved things somewhat by disabling the firewall on the router, but this isn't ideal obviously. Couple this with the poor wifi range, it's time to replace it.

I was looking for something under £100, that won't constantly drop connection when it comes under heavy load. Improved wifi signal would be a bonus, but not necessary. I just need a solid, reliable router for gaming.

Any suggestions please?

Edit: I'm considering this one TP-LINK Archer C5 AC1200 but reading the reviews it doesn't seem to have a modem, I'm not very experienced when it comes to routers, will I have to buy something else or what?

Archer C range is just a router without ADSL modem included. Look at Archer D range.

There is Archer D9 slightly over budget, if the feature set is worth the extra money. Meant to have Broadcom chipset.

Do you know if FTTC is due in your area any time soon?
