I am looking for a 2.1 speaker system for my PC, to replace a faulty Cambridge Soundworks DTT2200 system which I have been using without the rear speakers (i.e. in a 2.1 configuration) for many years. I've been more than happy with the sound from the DTT2200, and my first thought was to buy another set on eBay, but they seem to be priced at around £70, which seems a little high for used gear which wasn't that expensive when it was new.
Can anyone recommend a 2.1 system that can match the quality of the DTT2200 for music playback? I thought about the Creative Pebble, but don't want a USB solution. Happy to go for something used, but I don't want to spend more than £100.
