Decent upgrade? New spec

I dont think a 7600 is that much of an upgrade ... I would prefer the x1800xt (more so since its on the weeks special )
As for getting up there...Company car so no fuel
Also please remember i will be getting £300 back for my old kit .. Ok the cpu is not much of an upgrade but the memory will be as the stuff i have is pretty poor (unmatched pair of 1 gig no name stuff) The x1800 should be a fair step up and i have easy access to a x2 chip when i have spare funds (and when prices drop abit )

Considering your selling your old gear & the with the new rig your getting, it all looks good. The X1800XT is a great card for the price, much faster than your current card. The AM2 3800+ will offer improvements & importantly offer the opportunity for future upgrades.
