Looking for some decent video editing software.

I would like it to be fairly easy to use, but have some advanced features I could learn on youtube / eventually.

don't mind splashing the cash on this one, so whatever you recommend really. Need to be compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I've heard Final Cut Pro is good, but can I run that on my Windows system ?

He did say "don't mind splashing the cash on this one". ;)

That is true, I thought maybe he'd want to start off on a beginner one.

Sony Vegas Pro is really nice to use. Much more user friendly than Premiere Pro.

However v11 has changed (exporting videos) compared to v10, but if you're a new user you probably won't care as you haven't had time for it to become a preference for you.

If you need any help on it ask here, Vegas Pro or the other versions of Vegas are the same in terms of the user interface and some settings.
