as header looking recommendations on a WiFi extender had bt install full fiber few months back but would only install the router in the back bedroom the engineer would not go threw any hard work to try route the cables down the original conduit to the down stairs hallway were the original bt router was so now our living room tv struggling with bad signal WiFi i have seen a few WiFi extenders in Argos etc are they any good or any better than others ?

Hi

BT offer WiFi range extenders themselves:

Otherwise, OCUK also stocks WiFi extenders, although how easy these are to configure to work with the BT router, I don't know:

Go mesh. They work better than extenders. The BT discs will work as mesh with your BT hub. Alternatively there's ones like TP-Link Deco, Asus, etc.

But if you really want to take advantage of your full fibre speeds, running an ethernet cable to the living room then adding in an access point will give you the best speeds.
