Decent Wireless Card?

For my new build. I don't know where to start. I like the look of the N band one that Overclockers have but I've read they're only compatible with N routers? Not sure what router there is in my house ( as i've only just moved in, and currently away) but the last thing I was picking up the internet on was a Dell Inspiron so I doubt the network band in that thing was anything fancy like N, whatever N means, or is, or does.

So what's the best wireless card I can get?

Cheers!

All N boils down to is the latest enhancement of the WiFi standard.(IEEE 802.11 as it's otherwise known)
N would be a good buy. It's backwards compatible with G (normal run of the mill 54meg wifi) and it does 300mbps 'N' Standard if you later decide to go that route.

N adapters are only incompatible with B and G if they're run in 5GHz mode. But the N standard caters for running on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Though range and coverage are better on 5GHz.
