Occasionaly i play pc games using tv-out which is fine for my wireless mouse / keyboard but i'd quite like to have a wireless gamepad too. Are there any that are good? I had 2 wireless pads with my playstation that were terrible with button presses disappearing all the time and shocking battery life. Saw a logitech one for around £25 but don't want to spend money on a lemon so advice would be appreciated.

I understand Microsoft are releasing some sort of reciever for their wireless x360 pads that will plug into the PC :)

I'll have a wee google and see if I can find more info :)

Wow. Sounds good. I've heard that the Xbox360 pads are pretty well designed. The wired pads can work with a PC but a wireless one?! Nice. Will have to get an Xbox360 sometime.

I've got the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 and it's very good. I use it to play games like Pro Evo, Need For Speed and Tony Hawks. It's quite light and looks and feels just like a Playstation 2 pad.

Thats just what i wanted to hear :D, want one to play Pro Evo on my telly :). How far away / through how many walls do you play with it?

I usually play no more than a few feet away from my computer. I'll stick Pro Evo on and do a distance/wall test and report back.

Edit: The battery's quite low but it worked through my door and bedroom wall from 4 meters away. It worked standing on my landing 6 meters away and through both my brothers door and my walls 8 meters away. It wouldn't work from about 10 meters away. All the walls are blocks. It worked through the ceiling when I was in the lounge, beneath my room, and standing outside my bedroom window. Hope that helps.

Edit 2: Just looked on the box and the max distance is 9.1m.

Thanks :), i'll probably be around 5 - 6 metres away through 1 wall (not brick though, damn these cost cutting developers!).
