Hi all,

Just after some peoples experiences with gaming on various wireless keyboards.
I know all the 'proper' gamers are going to jump up and down about how you can only game on a wired keyboard, but wired isn't an option.

I won't be gaming too regularly and absolutely wont be taking anything too seriously, but I'm still after the most responsive reliable wireless keyboard I can get.

Quite like the look of both

The K800 or the diNovo, but wondered if anyone had any experience or better suggestions??

Also looking to get a wireless Razer mouse but am open to suggestions on mice too :)

Cheers All :)

Hi Chris,

I use the DiNovo edge and have done for the last 4yrs. I cant give you any facts on responsivness but I myself havent ever noticed any lag with the keyboard. I use it for BFBC2, Ruse and soon to be Fom Dust :). The battery also lasts me 1-2 months per charge!

If I were you Id go for the Dinovo edge although I am biased :p

I'm quite tempted to nudge you to the K750.

Currently using one myself, and have been for a couple of weeks now, and it really is very good.

I'll give you a basic run down:

It's very thin, and was easy to get used to.
It's comfortable and I've been using it for hours on end with no issues.
No sign of wear as of yet on the keys (and I've demolished my fair few keyboards)
The wireless system that Logitech use is absolutely fantastic for connectivity. Haven't had a single issue with it. It's fast and doesn't lag at all when pushing into the 80-100 words per minute when typing, and I've had similar problems where other wireless keyboards have before. (however I believe all Logitech's use the same system so you wouldn't have a problem with any of your suggestions either) On the gaming front, I've used mine for online gaming/offline, and haven't had a problem at all!
Solar Powered! This is a real novelty, but more than that it is actually a really good feature! I don't ever have to worry about power, and the batteries really do last forever, I haven't seen the power drop below about 95% and I do some late night sessions with very little light! (and all that eco-jargon if you like it)
From what I can see it's cheaper than your other suggestions!
It's ultra-thin, same kind of thickness as the k800 I'd imagine. (thinner than my HTC Desire if the keyboard supports are down)

The ONE con that might lead to you wanting the k800 over the k750 is that it is illuminated (as far as I can tell this is the single benefit over the k750) and yes it does annoy me sometimes, but I can just turn the light on if really needed...

As for Mice, I'd probably point you towards Logitech again! Whilst I'm an avid fan of my R.A.T.7 and would happily suggest a R.A.T.9 you could get a very nice Logitech wireless mouse for less, and again I'm sure you'll have heard of the fantastic reviews about Logitech customer support! Another benefit of going Logitech wireless is that the wireless dongle that comes with the Logitech Keyboards (or at least the K750) can support up to 5 (total) Logitech devices and itself is tiny!

Hope this helps, but yeah Go grab a K750 unless you really need the illuminated keys (I use mine in the dark all the time with no issues - but saying that I imagine the touch-typing helps. In fact am writing this in the dark on it right now! :D

I'm just using a standard Microsoft 5000 Kb and Mouse for FPS games with no lag etc from about 2m from the PC (wireless dongle in front USB port).

Cheers all. :)

Think I'll give the K800 a go. The 750 is a good shout but for purely aesthetic reasons (Don't like the look of the solar panels and fancy the back lighting) I'll plump for the K800.

Thanks again
