I'm pretty sure that the P5W comes with sata and ide cables, so could save yourself a few bob, but looking at your list it doesn't look like it will affect the final price that much.

Fan for the heatsink?
Artic silver?

Ditch the floppy
Ditch the WD secure connect cables (standard power & data are fine)
Replace PSU with Liberty 620W
Replace case with Stacker 810 or older Stacker (better case)
Does that motherboard support Crossfire? (good upgrade perhaps by adding a X1900XT master, unless a replacement for the X1900XT would be a faster single than dual card)
Ninja comes with a fan.

oh get two 320GB's instead of one 500GB

320GB x 2 = 640GB cost £140
500GB x 1 = 500GB cost £160

So you're paying £20 more for 140GB less space if you choose the 500GB!
ps do you really need that much space? Don't overbuy storage as you'll just be wasting money. Get one drive for now, perhaps a single 320GB...see how that goes you can then buy another HD ie 400GB for more storage and/or perhaps a Raptor for OS if you need the extra speed.

Personally wouldnt go for anything more than an E6400, and I did get an X1900 master card - both of which are better value for money than the above and are argueably better performers and I wouldnt dream of getting XP Home and if you dont need Xfire (which is only worth considering on a 24" screen or larger ) you could think about getting a lower spec single PCIE *16 board rather than paying £50 or so extra for the Asus , which is a great board but not brilliant

Just My opinion - also with the savings you could then get a really decent TFT ( maybe a decent 20" widescreen?)

just come back and checked on my order and it says:

"Your order has been sent to our warehouse but not yet printed.
If your order remains in this state for several hours there may be an out of stock item delaying your orders progress."

the reason i ordered some below par parts like the case was because it was in stock (all the items i ordered arew still in stock), and i paid £75.00 for sat del :( , whats the likelyhood of me getting my stuff by tommorow........zip.

gonna have to phone up and cancel :(

i ordered CoolerMaster Stacker 830 - Silver Trim, as far as i can see it is in stock

tbh i could be bothered to drive and pick a shed load of boxs and drove home, i ordered mine between 7:45am-8:30am, though as all my items were in stock should have almost been 100% guaranteed that i get them for tommorow...still have no idea as to why i havent

i probly cancel this order as saturday was probly the only time i had to to be around for del and build it, tbh i'am quite annoyed but probly couldnt be helped :(

Thats one hell of a rig. Once clocked that baby will be able to encode, burn DVD's and play any game at max without breaking a sweat. And all for the price of a small car ;) And that doesnt include your new 30" monitor when it comes out.

As for your original question, "also, what performance gains will they be will i be able to play everything maxed at 1280x1024 with games like fear?"

The answer is you are fearless, in any res.
