Hiya's,
Hopefully some fast replies as i want to drive the short distance to OcUK to buy my goodies today
1st, My last Intel rig was a P120 !!! Since that i have been 100% AMD so Intel is obviously new to me
Decided on the
"Intel Core 2 Quad LGA775 Q6600 GO SLACR 2.40GHz Retail / Abit IP35 Pro / 2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500C5 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit, ThermalRight SI-128 Cooler - Bundle"
I am also getting a newer burner/psu/case/pair of hd's
I was thinking of the Nvidia 8800gts in iether 320 or 640 ram config (read the 310 was a smashing card etc)
BUT now am i right i should stick with ATI for this abit mobo that's got crossfire ???
So maybe i best get the ATI HD 2900 XT in the lesser 512 ram config
Any replies would be great as i'm eager to drive the 30mile asap so i can get building
PS... Anyone know (if it's allowed i guess ??) what revision the Gigabyte GA_P35_DQ6 stocked at Oc is ?? was asking for my bro who's after rev 1.1
