ok, after many threads i have finally decided that BD just doesnt seem worth the wait.
Current Spec :
Phenom II X4 B55 @ 3.8GHz Tri-Core
890FX Deluxe3
12GB Team Elite 1333MHz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2
CF 2xHD6850
Coolmaster HAF 912 Plus
700w Modular PSU
2 x 500GB HDD in Raid0
2 x 1TB HDD
1 x 500GB HDD

so plan is order the Z68-Extreme4 and G620. then once that is here put the 890FX Deluxe3, Athlon X2 555 BE (Phenom II X4 B55 @ 3.8GHz Tri-Core), 2GB in a case, stick in a smallish HDD and DVD drive and slap on win7 or vista. then i can sell as a working desktop and then fund a 2500k or 2600k (or maybe hangfire until skt1155 ivy bridge chips come out) depending on when and how much my stuff sells for.

so my questions are, will the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 fit on a skt1155 mobo or am i better looking for something else when i get the new chip (the G620 should be good on stock HSF)?
also, with the huge fan at the front of the case being blocked by all my HDDs

im thinking maybe move my 500GB 3.5" 7200rpm music drive to a 500GB 2.5" 5400rpm drive. then as only 200GB or so is used up of my 2x500GB raid drives, ditch raid and go down to 1x500GB for my OS. this would then mean 2 HDDs can be removed. therefore increasing airflow? or would it not make a huge difference?
then when funds allow, add an SSD in with the 2.5" hdd and use the 500GB new os drive for installing games/apps to. does this sound like a good swap around or will it be a lot of hassel for little gains?

I can tell you that the Asrock boards have a LGA775 mounting as well, if that cooler has this? then it can be used.

found the box, it has a 1155 bracket :) will this be good enough for a 2500k/2600k or would i be better off selling it with the rest and getting something better?

oh, also, whats clearance like on those heatsinks by the cpu socket? i know i had issues finding a cooler as the fan next to the socket on my 890FX got in the way.

moved the drives around (temps for mobo dropped by 3-4c and temps for cpu dropped 2-3c) and completed all my bench tests for my 555 at stock and unlocked to tri core @ 3.7GHz. hopefully i will order the mobo/cpu tomorrow or tuesday so i will be able to compare how the G620 is against my cpu at stock and oc'd as there doesnt seem to be a lot of info about the G620 around.
