I was thinking of a motherboard upgrade bundle. The reason why Intel over AMD, because in the past I have had 3 AMD CPU's fail me, that is a lot! The next upgrade will be my 3rd Intel based PC. I want to get another SSD but really need the MB to be PCIe 4.0 M2 compatible to install a superfast Gen.4 SSD, probably 2TB. I was thinking of the Asus ROG Maximus XII Hero bundle, but that MB does not have the PCIe Gen.4 slot. Not sure if any Asus/Intel Z490, socket 1200 MB's are Gen.4 compatible? Any advice or recommendations, thanks?
