Hi,
I am looking to purchase a new / up to date graphics card in the next two months. I haven't got much of a clue about them tbh. Need help.
Budget: £300-£350
New Maxwell architecture / model newish
Nvidia - I need cuda support for my old version of Adobe CS5.5. No AMD.
I want to get into PC gaming and my first dip into this will be GTA V in January.
I want to be able to handle this on maxed settings. I want to handle games for the next three years at decent settings. Same or better than ps4 / Xbone
I don't play fps or online and 1080p most likely would be decent enough for me (I think) but I do want the best bang for my buck.
Is there any graphics card on the horizon I should wait for early next year?
I'm toying with an Evga 970. I think 980s are out of my budget.
Are these good? Evga seems to fit my case specs and I have heard they run quite cool.
I'm running 16gb ram, GB z87 OC, i5 at 4.4ghz oc
Any black Friday deals likely to exist for newish cards on overclockers?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers
